just got back from spider-man

and it was damn good, by far the best comic movie, it not only blew the first one out of the water, it bent the first one over and made it, its bitch.

anyways heres my predictions for the sequel(once everybody else has seen it feel free to post yours)

i believe the next movie will focus on peter having to decide between good and evil...why do i think that well because it would be a good way to introduce the black costume(its whats causing him to conflicted) and its the only internal conflict not yet exploited.


anyways i think the sinister six(or a variation of it rather) will be the antagonist(sp?) in the next one, and will be somposed of gg(theres no way tthey would have harry find the stuff and not exploit it), dr. octupus(it wouldn't be to hard to bring him back), electro, black cat(both her and electro were in alternate scripts for the second one so it would make sense to include them), lizard, and peter parker venom(spidey gets the costume then tries to get rid of it and it takes over)

The second was definitley better than the first, all except for the ending, I thought...

First off, Doc Ock dies (apparently), then they have Green Goblin appearing to Harry, telling him to go after Peter, and then Harry finds all his dad's old stuff...and then that was it. It would have made more sense for Harry to come after Peter, and then have the two of them duke it out, rather than just ending the movie. The Spiderman franchise can't go off the "a scientist who was working for OsCorp goes mad while testing some new invention" premise forever. Killing Harry would have effectively gotten away from that.

I doubt it'll be the Sinister Six coming after Peter in part 3. Sam Raimi said that there were originally two villians in the script, but he nixed one of them because having an extra villian didn't allow him to explore either one as much as he wanted to. So I could see two bad guys in the next movie, but six? No way. I think that in the next flick, they should bring in Venom. The CGI they're using for Spiderman is actually good, so the stuff they would have to use for Spidey/Venom fight scenes would make for some awesome balls-to-the-wall action.

All in all, it was a really good flick. Like I said, it was much better than the first. Alfred Molina was great as Doctor Octopus. There were a lot of funny scenes with J.K. Simmons. The only thing I would change would be Kirsten Dunst. That poor girl is starting to look like Mary-Kate Olsen on weed.

He's been mentioned in Spider-Man 1, haven't seen 2 yet, but I think the Lizard would be a good guess.

Or Venom. They have the astronaut thing in Spidey 2, or so I've heard, so they can give Venom the same origin as in the cartoon.

someone who's seen it can verify for me, but i think that teahcer in the trailer for the movie, thats talking to peter about always being late and all that stuff, i think thats Doc Connors. Topwards the beginning of the game, the same scene kinda happens, and that who peter refers to him as...

Dr. Conners Fired Peter for Being Late in the first Movie [img]cool.gif[/img] so i would think that the Lizard coming out soon is not to far away, but Venom..hands down would be WAYYYYY Better , and eddie was talked about in the first movie [img]cool.gif[/img]

lizard will be(he better be) in the next one but he probably won't be the main enemy.


also if venom does have the same origins as the show the next movie will be spidey getting the suit, with the 4th being venom

The symbiotes should stay far away from the movies, and the Sinister Six is WAY too many villains to properly use...

I hope its Venom, he would look great in the dark. Lizard would be cool too, but I like Venom better. That would be a long movie though introducing Spidey to the symbiote, then getting it off him, then introducing it to Brock. But long movies are good [img]cool.gif[/img]
